MLS® Home Search > Vancouver Reciprocity Or IDX

Reciprocity and IDX are strange sounding words for the consumer. They are terms used by the real estate boards and people who are looking after properties that are listed for sale on the Multiple Listing Service or MLS® in short. In laymen term, it is refer to the sharing of property listing information by members of the real estate boards.

The display of the MLS® listing information is meant to provide sufficient info about the properties for sale. There are over a dozen formats and displays that can be confusing and difficult for the public to find homes for sale information easily. Most of the real estate websites are not designed for use by the public.

ABL Home Search

The search by James Wong for an easy to use home search website resulted in James commissioning a computer programmer to build ABL search portal from the ground up. It was a year long effort to get the current ABL Home Search working the way how it should work. For real estate agents, ABL allows them to own their own website with home search capability, and expand their business online and offline. Their website is like their real estate storefronts, showcasing their own unique brand and service.

What matters to online visitors is whether they can easily find homes for sale info using an agent's website powered by ABL-Web's search portal. A sample test website http://www.bestcanadianproperties.com/ ABL's home search websites are being field tested in June and July, and any further refinements and improvements will be incorporated from feedback from real estate agents.
